Gregory Wittpenn, MD - Plastic Surgery


 

Dr. Gregory Wittpenn graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, and received his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of South Florida. He completed residencies in general surgery at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi and in plastic surgery at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He received special training in hand surgery at the prestigious Christine Kleinert Institute in Louisville, Kentucky, and fellowship training in pediatric and craniofacial plastic surgery at the world famous Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.

Dr. Wittpenn also served 12 years of active duty in the U.S. Air Force. He has received board certification in general surgery, plastic surgery, and hand surgery. Over the course of his career, Dr. Wittpenn has served as head of the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. More recently, he served as an assistant professor of surgery for Texas A&M College of Medicine while working with the Scott and White Clinic in College Station.
